Paul is an artist. His work on my bathroom and kitchen is impeccable, and I am a very fussy guy! Paul and his charming partner Mel arrived, gave me a reasonable quote, a quick lead-time and their communication has been consistently great. After a series of tiling misadventures, I found Paul through the local Google reviews and I am so grateful I did. He is the ‘real deal’, someone with integrity, a genuine passion for his craft and goes that extra mile with a wonderful eye for detail. I asked him about his profession and I learnt he trained under a master tiler in Germany and his work reflects a standard that seems uncommon here in the UK, in fact, he refuses to use plastic spacers and instead hand-picks cuts of tiles and uses the appropriate tiles for each unique space. He explained that each tile has tiny variations in size, which over time with spacers, can cause huge deviations in lines. So he uses his sharp eye and judgement to create the best possible outcome - manually judging and weighing up his decisions as he works. This is what I mean by passion and integrity. Instead of the easiest route, he goes that extra mile. I have used other tilers in the past, but no one has come close to Paul’s standard of work. An artist and a gentleman. Thank you Paul!

Paul and Mel did a great job tiling my shower. They were professional, efficient and very tidy. Parts of our house are 500 years old so the ceilings can be a bit wibbly wobbly, but even so the tiles are cut perfectly. Fair price too.
